The Superhost math
Airbnb checks Superhost every quarter, looking back over the past year. One of the bars is a 4.8 or higher overall rating. The others are at least 10 stays (or 3 stays that add up to 100 nights), a cancellation rate under 1 percent, and a response rate of 90 percent or more.
So for the calculator, use only the reviews from the last 12 months. From 4.72 across 35 of them, you need about 13 new 5-star stays to show 4.80.
What moves an Airbnb rating
- Cleanliness and check-in. Those two categories sink more hosts than anything else.
- A message after checkout thanking the guest. Ask them to review, and leave yours too.
- Fix the thing the last 4-star review mentioned before the next guest arrives.
